In the southeastern Aegean, where neoclassical elegance meets crystalline waters, Symi unfolds as one of the most refined island escapes in Greece. This private cruise is designed for discerning guests seeking exclusivity, cultural depth, and unspoiled swimming locations — all delivered with the signature hospitality of Luxury Day Charters.

From the iconic amphitheatrical harbor of Symi to the spiritual calm of Panormitis Monastery, this experience combines architectural beauty, hidden coves, and absolute privacy at sea.

This is not a transfer. It is a curated luxury voyage.

  • Embarkation Rhodes Marina

Upon arrival at the marina, kindly proceed to the Roditis Yachting designated meeting point, located near the main entrance of the marina, adjacent to the dock where ALENA is moored. Please look for the Roditis Yachting signage, or feel free to approach any of the marina staff for assistance.

  • Arrival at Symi Harbor

Symi’s harbor is one of the most iconic in Greece. As the yacht approaches, pastel neoclassical mansions rise amphitheatrically above the port, creating a striking first impression. You disembark for free time along the waterfront promenade. Guests may explore boutique shops, enjoy coffee by the sea, or reserve a table at one of the harbor’s refined restaurants. This stop typically lasts 60–90 minutes, depending on your preference.

  • ST. GEORGE BAY — SWIM STOP

Located along Symi’s dramatic eastern coastline, St. George Bay is known for its towering limestone cliffs and exceptionally clear turquoise waters. The yacht anchors beneath the cliffs for swimming and snorkeling in deep, crystalline water. This is a pure nature stop — no facilities, no crowds — only open sea and vertical rock formations. Time here is approximately 45–60 minutes, adjustable to your pace.

  • Panormitis Monastery — PANORMITIS BAY

Cruising south, you arrive at the sheltered bay of Panormitis, home to the historic Monastery of Archangel Michael, one of the most important religious landmarks in the Dodecanese. Guests may visit the monastery grounds for a short cultural stop or remain onboard enjoying the calm anchorage. The bay’s protected waters are ideal for relaxed swimming and sunbathing. Duration is typically 60–90 minutes.

  • OPTIONAL HIDDEN COVE — WEATHER PERMITTING

Depending on sea conditions and overall timing, an additional swim stop may be included in a secluded bay along Symi’s coastline, offering further privacy and tranquil waters.

  • Return to Rhodes Marina

In the afternoon, the yacht begins its return cruise to Rhodes. The journey back is unhurried and comfortable, with time to relax on deck and enjoy the open Aegean views. If departure is scheduled later in the day, the return may coincide with sunset over the sea.

Your private charter begins with a smooth cruise northeast toward the pastel amphitheater of Symi — one of the most photogenic harbors in Greece. As the yacht approaches, neoclassical mansions in soft ochre, terracotta, and powder blue rise above the port in perfect symmetry.

Disembark at leisure. Wander the harbor promenade, browse select boutiques, or enjoy a refined waterfront lunch overlooking the yachts and fishing boats. The atmosphere is cosmopolitan yet authentically Greek — sophisticated without excess.

From there, the cruise continues along Symi’s dramatic coastline. Towering limestone cliffs frame hidden coves accessible only by sea. A highlight stop is the spectacular St. George Bay, where vertical rock walls meet deep, crystalline turquoise waters. Here, you swim in privacy — no crowds, no noise — just the echo of the sea against stone.

The voyage then unfolds south toward the serene bay of Panormitis Monastery. Nestled between protective hills, this historic 18th-century monastery dedicated to Archangel Michael offers both cultural depth and calm anchorage. You may step ashore for a brief visit or remain onboard enjoying paddleboarding and swimming in its sheltered waters.
